Here come the sons: the return of the Beatles?
Music
In the Telegraph an article got my attention, when I saw something about the Beatles
and returning I had to read it because, this is impossible! In this
article, the subject discussed was that the sons of the Beatles might be
wanting to form a band together. The son of legend Paul McCartney even said he
dreamt about becoming bigger than the Beatles. The plan was to get all the sons
of all the Beatles together and form a band. The one who
is the most interested in music is the son of legend John Lennon, who is
already in a band with his girlfriend Yuka Honda.
This can’t
be, I think it is ridiculous that the sons of one of most popular bands in the
world want to start their own band. And they hope they might have more success?
Think again my friend, times are changing. I wonder if it is possible to become
that big.
Even if it
would be possible, expectations are high. You are the son of that great legend.
Living up to those expectations is probably not possible, why aren’t you a
rockstar already then?
If you ask me
your parents are irrelevant to what you do, it has to come from you, not what
your daddy might have done.
I totally agree with you Marianne. No matter how good of musicians these guys are, they will never be nearly as good as their fathers once were. The Beatles are legends, and no one can top that. The only reason, in my opinion, why they would maybe gain as much attention as their fathers, is because they are the sons of musical legends.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI also totally agree with you. If the sons of the Beatles plan to form a band that is one thing, but to compare themselves to their fathers is another. Even if they would have inherited their fathers' talented musical genes, that still would not be enough to become nearly as famous as the Beatles were. Times have changed, music has changed, and the audience has changed. Besides, sequals almost always suck.
